Women Who Get Their Boots Dirty
Get Your Boots Dirty, SOREL’s current campaign, highlights women who live out their passions. This Fall, SOREL has partnered with DailyCandy, a female-focused lifestyle blog, to bring more stories of innovative and inspirational women to life. Four entrepreneurial women from diverse backgrounds talk about their businesses, and how they get their boots dirty.
Keri Litzmann, founder Rubina Designs (www.rubinadesign.com)
Keri is wearing the Slimpack Riding™ Boot

“Rubina features beautiful and functional accessories made by contemporary designers who collaborate with female artisans in marginalized communities around the world. Our mission is to create market opportunities and preserve traditional craft through the art of storytelling.”
“As the CEO of a fashion retail and design shop who wants to be very literally on the ground with her suppliers, I find that SOREL boots fit my personal and professional needs perfectly. I often find myself choosing outfits around the boots because they’re so versatile.”
Marisa Smith, founder Sweet Roots NYC (www.sweetrootsnyc.com)
Marisa is wearing the Conquest™ Carly Short in Bronze

“At Sweet Roots NYC, we make it easier to eat better. We do all of the menu planning, shopping and kitchen prep for our clients, so that they can be high-voltage, amazing, busy people and eat healthy, farm-fresh meals at the same time.”
“In a single day, my work can take me to a farmer’s market, an out-of-the-way spice shop and a warehouse in Brooklyn. Then I hop on the train and stand for a few hours making sure everything is running smoothly in our kitchen. In the evening, I might meet with a client in her West Village apartment and then run off to an event in Williamsburg with foodies and food makers from all over the city. I need boots that can rise to the occasion in all of those places. My SOREL boots do just that.”
Danielle Weisberg & Carly Zakin, co-founders TheSkimm (www.theskimm.com)
Danielle is wearing the Joan of Arctic™ Wedge; Carly is wearing the Conquest™ Carly Tall

“TheSkimm is an online newsletter that breaks down the headlines for multi-tasking women on-the-go. We read across party and subject lines to give women the tools to lead the conversation. Our concept is simple: we read, you Skimm.”
“We’ve had to become business women over night and, for me, SOREL boots mean business. SOREL shows that you can be serious, stylish, and powerful. I can take them anywhere and rely on them to get me through my day, in style.”
We are proud to collaborate with DailyCandy on sharing unique stories of inspirational women who are getting their boots dirty and making the world a more interesting place.
