Chipahko™ Felt
This month, we are featuring the easy-to-slip-on, cozy, durable, and great looking Chipahko™ Felt. According to the designer, “The Chipahko Felt was inspired by the laid-back vibe of a European Farm house. Bread baking in the old-world kitchen; a border collie sleeping by the fire; a sanctuary for your feet.”
SOREL has long used wool-felt. The cozy, rain-and-stain resistant wool delivers natural thermo-regulating properties that keep your feet warm when it is cold and cool when it is warm. The Chipahko Felt uses wool-felt in a thick layer on the upper, with a full-grain leather overlay for protection and durability.
“The wool-blend inner boot wraps your leg, while a soft leather outer layer protects the felt and wears-in beautifully over time. The midsole is a layer of felt that harkens back to vintage military boots, and gives natural support.” said the designer.
This boot looks great over a pair of your favorite skinny jeans, or paired up with a military jacket. The youth version utilizes pop colors to bring out a friendly playfulness.
